A veteran
writer, widely accepted as trend setter in Oriya literature
has conferred with prestigious Sarala Award, Orissa Sahitya
Akademy Award, Vishuba Award ,Dharitri Award. He is also
conferred by many organizations like Mahanadi Coalfields
Ltd, JK Paper
mills and Janatarabandhu etc.
Eleven anthologies of short stories and five novels are yet published to his
credit.
They are: Ekaki Ashwarohi (1979), Dakshina Duari Ghara (1979), Irsha EkaRutu
(1979)

A tele serial on his lifestyle and creation, directed by Dr.Satti Khanna, a Professor
of the Duke University, Durham, U.S.A, was telecasted by Doordarshan’s
National
